Top 5 Restaurants in Kirrawee

Rating & reviews (0 reviews)

Kirrawee is a suburb in the south of the Sydney metropolitan area. And, as you might expect, it’s home to some incredible restaurants. Check them out below.

1. Moim Japanese Kitchen Kirrawee

If you’re in the mood for Japanese food, then head on down to Moim Japanese Kitchen. This dainty little establishment, located at 134 Oak Road, Kirrawee, offers bento boxes, fusion, general Asian dishes and, of course, sushi. What's more, if you’re vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free, you’ll love it. There’s something for everyone. “Every meal I’ve ever had from here has been great,” said one reviewer.

Just be warned, though: the prices can be a little steep. This place ain’t cheap!

2. My Bangkok Restaurant

Continuing the Asian theme, you might also want to check out My Bangkok Restaurant, located just down the road at U 2 164 Oak Road. “These guys are the best if you want delicious Thai at affordable prices,” said one reviewer.

The nicest thing about My Bangkok Restaurant, though, is the setting. It’s just stunning. The owners put a lot of effort into the interior decor, lining walls with attractive brickwork, bamboo shoots and lantern-style lights. The atmosphere is best described as “cosy.”

3. Pellegrini's Italian

Don’t fancy going Asian? Not to worry: there’s always Pellegrini’s Italian on 580 Princes Highway. This restaurant seeks to innovate on classic Italian food and that’s part of what makes it so interesting. It continually updates its Facebook page with new recipes it’s introducing. Recently, it’s been focusing more on seafood and summer garden vegetables, getting Aussies in the mood for the hot festive season.

What’s nice about Pellegrini’s is how it is so true to its roots. It has all of the charm and sophistication you’d expect from a pizzeria in Milan or Venice but with some down-to-Earth Aussie cues as well. Gelato anyone?

4. Mix Pizza Bar

Located on 157 Oak Road, you’ll find Mix Pizza Bar. This joint, celebrated among the locals, is the place you go if you want to gorge on large pizzas and garlic bread. They offer free delivery on orders over $25 and a range of “deals” that give you big discounts off the standard price. Its family feast goes for $89.99 and offers three large pizzas, a cheesy garlic pizza, 6 pcs chicken wings, 500ml gelato, 1 x 1.25L cola, and 1 large nutella calzone. You’ll never feel hungry ever again after all that!

You can also order New York-style “huge” pizzas. These are 18-inches in diameter and cooked in a special oven.

5. Thai Riffic

Lastly, we have Thai Riffic – a funny play on words. This joint, located at G 10 580 Princes Highway, is well-known in the area for its authentic cuisine. The food is “delicious” according to one reviewer, with “excellent portion size and reasonably priced. Sizzling beef is a favourite.”

The restaurant offers a variety of soups, salads and signature mains. You can also order classic rice and noodle dishes, all prepared authentically.

So there you have it: some of the restaurants that offer locals a great lifestyle in Kirrawee. Which will you try?
