Harvard Business School (HBS) is the graduate business school of Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1908, The Harvard business school was established with 15 members of the faculty, 33 regular students and 47 special students. It was the university that offered the world’s first MBA program with a general management curriculum and a focus on real-world practice. Started off with some 80 or 90 students now offers degrees to more than 2000 students and has a faculty that offers a great quality of education.

In 1945, the first executive education program (Advanced Management Program) held — a group of sixty executives and recently demobilized veterans.
In the beginning, HBS accepted only male students and as for the Women, the business training was provided by The Training Course in Personnel Administration which was found at Radcliffe College. It was a great deal in 1995 when the women graduated from Harvard-Radcliffe program were admitted to MBA program the second year.
In 1993, Harvard Business Publishing was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvard University and its main aim was on improving business management practices Harvard Business publishing contains three market groups: Higher Education, Corporate Learning, and the Harvard Business Review Group. The thing Harvard is most known for its global research centers, which were opened between the year 1997 and 2006 in the silicon valley. HBS established nine global research centers and four regional offices and functions through offices in the Asia Pacific, United States, Europe, South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, Japan, and Latin America.
