Rafting in Nepal

Rating & reviews (0 reviews)
Nepal is the second richest country in terms of water resources. The mountains in the North behave as a source of water for Nepal. The rivers flow from Northern mountains through the Hilly region to Terai in the South. The fast-flowing rivers are not suitable for water transportation. These rivers can be utilized for hydroelectricity generation and adventure tourism. Adventure tourism can be rafting, bungee jumping, canyoning, etc.

Rafting is one of the most popular adventures in Nepal. Rivers such as Trishuli, Sunkoshi, Bhotekoshi, Kali Gandaki, etc. are suitable for rafting in Nepal. Rafting lasts for about 2-3 hours depending upon the track your travel agency provides.

In Nepal, rafting packages can be one-day or two-day packages. Normally, locals prefer two-day packages in which you can spend the night at the resort chilling with your loved ones. Mostly tourists prefer to take one-day packages as they have a fixed itinerary.

There are many travel agencies that provide rafting packages in Nepal. If you are a local or looking for just a rafting package, contact Trishuli Riverside Resort. If you are looking for an agency to help you plan more trips along with rafting or more, contact Highlander Trekking & Expeditions.
