Technology is indeed surprising, especially to non-techie individuals. Some may not even notice this, but technology of today can be overturned by tomorrow. I think it is because many individuals are constantly finding flaws and anomalies on these innovations.

Some may think of it as a bad indication since it professes a person that have the ability to topple a certain product with just a tweak or a click of a button. But on the good side, the discovery of these anomalies, signify change and improvement.

To compensate with this deficiencies, makers offer firmwares and softwares to somehow manage the bugs. There will be a constant act of updating and modifying to ensure product reliability.

But I do not discourage everyone to turn their backs on memory cards. As far as I'm concerned, memory cards and flash drives are still the top device for data storage. I consider the anomalies as part of the territory since no one can make a flawless device or component. Anything can be override. But when you look at it at another perspective, it gives the makers room for improvement. By merely pointing out these irregularities, one can improve their products to suit the needs of the market. As buyers, what we can do is identify which of these specs best suit your needs. It may also help if you know a little about memory cards.
