A lot of you probably know Base Camp trek in Nepal, That probably referring to Everest Base Camp trek right? Matter of fact there is over 330 base camp in Nepal officially open for tourist to visit. However, Everest Base Camp trek is one of the top listed trek routes in the whole world.

There is some significant fact that you should know, before embarking on this route is your fitness. Are you well fit enough to venture into this unknown world? A lot of my customers ask me how difficult is to trek Everest Base Camp. In fact, It is not hard as you think. All you need is some tips before heading this trail and give yourself little extra training.

Distance


130km in round figure, starting from Lukla (A small mountain village) to end at Lukla. Everest Base Camp required roughly 11-13 KM of the average walk each day. To gain a right amount of acclimatisation you are required to keep at least 300-400m of elevation each day.

Itinerary


Usually, EBC trek can be done minimum as 12 to Maximum 16 days. Depending on your fitness you can choose the itinerary. If you don't have the previous experience in the high, elevation, you should go with long days of the itinerary that includes enough acclimatisation. Or if you are experienced hiker in high altitude, you can do Everest Base Camp trek minimum as 12 days.
